Started with people, sustained by people.
Since 1992, we connect local expertise, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities to deliver real value through an integrated mobility and business ecosystem.
In 1992, El Sayed El Makkawi believed that owning a new vehicle should never be an unreachable dream for young people, professional drivers, and small business owners. From that belief began a long journey built on honest advice, commitment, responsibility, and trust.
The El Makkawi Group began with M Auto in 1992 and has since grown into an ecosystem of partnerships, alliances and investment relationships across 8 sectors, with sales and service points throughout Egypt.
When this journey began in 1992, I was not seeking to build a large company as much as I was seeking to offer a genuine service to people. I saw the dreams of young people, business owners, and professional drivers seeking a better future — and I believed our role extends beyond providing a vehicle to helping realize those dreams.
We have passed through years full of challenges, but what never changed is our commitment to the principles we started with. Today I am proud of what we have achieved with our customers, partners, and team — and I believe the best of our journey is yet to come.
Over three decades, M Auto has grown into an ecosystem delivering diverse solutions across complementary sectors.
Integrated solutions for cars, commercial vehicles, and mass transit via local and global brands with a supporting service network.
Specialized solutions for private and government entities — supply, operation, technical support, and ancillary services.
Financing and installment programs are available through licensed banks and consumer-finance companies in Egypt; financing decisions and terms rest with the financing provider.
Maintenance, spare parts, and technical support meeting the highest standards of reliability and continuity.
Logistics and transport solutions that support business flow and raise operational efficiency.
Building strategic partnerships and alliances that create new growth opportunities and added value for all parties.
Developing real-estate, commercial, and construction projects through the Group's specialized entities.
Investments in tourism and service projects through the Group's diverse partnerships.
The Group works with these entities through partnerships, shareholdings, alliances and commercial relationships.
